When Vega rises at Midheaven with the Moon, and the dreadful Scheat is upon Neptune, the air will be brimming with Malefic Currents. Witches may summon a powerful curse at this time, causing Death by Drowning unto their enemies.

First, gather a clan of herbs known as Venena Novem-The Nine Poisons: Mandragora, Henbane, and Belladonna, which are the three ruling Triad of Ars Pharmakeia; Datura Seeds from the East; and also Helleborus, Poppy, Foxglove, Poison Hemlock, and Aconitum, which is the High Queen of Poisons.

Sing a spell to them; tell them what you need, in the name of their Mistress, Almighty Hekate of the Threshold, Daughter of Starry Asteria. Then grind them and mix them well. Go outside under the Stars bearing witness; and burn them as incense. As the smoke rises up to the heavens, sing this Lament for Narcissus:

He is no more.
No more.
Alas, he is lost to us, Fair Narcissus.
A Beauty with a cold and cruel heart.
May the Gods show him the way.
Lead him on a moon-lit path;
Down to the silence of deep, dark Hades.
Console him. Ease his pain.
Wipe his tears.
Yet show him Hell;
Make him pay for his crime.

He is no more.
O Fair Narcissus,
No more.

Do not discard the ashes, but carefully collect every grain of them. Put them in a Cremation Urn; this is the remains of Narcissus, an epithet of your enemy.

Bring, then, a fine cord made of silk. You can select a black one for Saturnine Torture, or a red one for Cruciating Pain. Tie 9 knots upon the cord, sing the spell as follows:

Red Paternoster
Abel’s dear brother
One for the Sickle
Two for the Reaper
Three for the Angel
who suffers no master

Now tie the cord around the urn and pull it tight. Put the urn in the darkest corner of your house. Your enemy will perish, either by suicide or drowning, within one moon-cycle.
